A serious Indian matchmaking platform where families and singles each have their own space, and the final choice stays with the people getting married.
← Back to RishtaConnectsFinding someone to marry shouldn't mean choosing between traditional matrimony, where families often take the lead, and dating apps, where you're largely on your own.
That's why I built RishtaConnects, a serious Indian matchmaking platform that brings families and singles together, while giving each their own space in the process.
We believe families can play an important role in finding a life partner. They bring experience, understanding and support. But the people getting married should always have the freedom to get to know each other and make their own decisions.
At RishtaConnects, we want to make room for both.
RishtaConnects gives parents and singles their own separate spaces, because they don't always look at matchmaking in the same way.
For Families
Parents can create a family profile, explore potential matches, shortlist profiles and help make introductions.
For Singles
Singles have their own private profiles, where they can explore compatibility, express interest and decide whom they want to get to know.
Singles can also begin their journey independently and bring their family into the process when they're ready.
Parents and singles can be part of the same journey without having to share every preference, conversation or decision.
We believe family involvement can add another layer of reassurance and authenticity to matchmaking.
Parents often want to know that their sons and daughters are meeting people who are genuinely looking for marriage. Singles, on the other hand, want the time and freedom to understand whether someone is right for them.
Both perspectives matter.
RishtaConnects gives families a meaningful role in the process, without putting them in charge of their adult children's personal choices.
Parents can help with introductions. Singles decide whom they want to connect with, get to know and take things forward with.
It's about bringing families together while keeping the relationship, and the decisions that come with it, between the two people considering marriage.
Finding a life partner is personal. We believe the process should respect that.
RishtaConnects is designed around verification, separate family and individual profiles, private preferences and consent-based connections.
Parents don't need access to every detail of their son or daughter's personal preferences or conversations. And singles shouldn't feel pressured to pursue someone simply because their family likes the match.
We want people to feel comfortable being themselves, asking questions and taking the time they need.
Technology can help people discover potential matches and understand compatibility. But it should never make personal decisions for them.
The final choice always belongs to the individuals.

As a parent of two adult children, I've seen how conversations about marriage and finding a life partner can be quite different for parents and their children.
Parents naturally want to be involved. They want to know that their children are meeting someone genuine, someone who shares their values and is serious about marriage.
But our children see things differently. They want the freedom to get to know someone, understand whether they're compatible, and make their own decisions.
And I understand both sides.
I've also seen this same gap in many Indian families. Traditional matrimony often puts parents in charge of the search, while dating apps leave families out of the picture altogether.
I kept wondering, why does it have to be one or the other?
I also felt that involving families could bring another layer of authenticity and reassurance to the process. When families are genuinely part of the journey, there's a sense of openness and seriousness that can sometimes be missing when two people connect online. Of course, family involvement alone doesn't guarantee a genuine match, but it can help build trust.
So why can't parents be involved without managing every conversation or decision? And why can't singles have their own space while still having the support of their families?
That question eventually led me to build RishtaConnects.
I wanted to create something that brings both generations together, but gives each their own space. Parents can help with introductions and bring that additional layer of authenticity, while singles have the privacy and freedom to get to know someone and decide what feels right for them.
I'm building RishtaConnects around a simple belief:
Whether you're looking for a life partner or helping someone in your family find one, RishtaConnects gives you a place to begin.
